A START THAT FITS YOU

Where should we start a conversation about the future with the family?

The aim of the first conversation is not to make the student choose the right degree, but to understand their reasons and the support they need. Choose the path that fits you.

I am a student

If you want to explain your reasons, compare two options, or make a support plan with your family.

  1. Choose what you need: listening, information, or a small step.
  2. Read the conversation plan together; you do not have to make a final decision right away.
  3. If you want to explore your interests in a structured way, move to the Reflektif student space.
Start in your own words

I am a family member

If you want to talk openly about your concerns and the support you can offer without deciding for your child.

  1. First ask whether they are ready to talk.
  2. Express your concern as a question to explore, not as a prohibition.
  3. Talk about the limits of your support; leave room for the student's reasons and right to decide.
Open the support conversation

I am a guidance teacher / counselor

If you want to build shared language in a family conversation and help the student arrive with concrete questions.

  1. Read one of the guides together without entering personal student data.
  2. Print the worksheet for the conversation; sharing should be the student's choice.
  3. If an institutional exploration process is needed, review Reflektif's institutional options.
Use the worksheet

Only have a few minutes?

Start with the listening card. One person speaks; the other summarizes what they heard and asks whether they understood correctly.

5-minute listening guide

Three agreements before you talk

  • The decision belongs to the student; the family explains its support capacity openly.
  • Taking a break is allowed. If there is a threat or safety risk, do not continue the conversation.
  • You do not need to write a private story. The tools work in page memory.
AİLEPUSULASI → REFLEKTİF

You've opened the conversation. Would you like to explore yourself now?

AilePusulası makes room for a conversation with the family. Reflektif is a separate platform where you can explore interests, personality tendencies, and work values through structured questions and AI-supported conversation.

Moving on is optional. Your AilePusulası choices, budget, and plan are not sent to Reflektif.

The student link goes to Reflektif's Türkiye student area. Select your current language on the destination site; we do not promise Spanish/German support. A separate French Orientation area is also listed below.
